The Firstborn Laestadians

The teaching of the Firstborn Laestadian awakening movement is in accordance with the Holy Bible and the doctrine of Christ and the apostles. Esikoislestadiolaiset ry (Firstborn Laestadian association) provides the infrastructure for congregational activites in Finland.

Our awakening movement operates mainly in the Nordic countries and North America but it also has some activity in Russia, the Baltic Countries and Central Europe. The central place of the awakening movement is at the birthplace of the Laestadian movement in Swedish Lapland.
